Genesis Mission Updates - Scientists Hope Some Samples Survived
A number of updates have been released from NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) after the Genesis spacecraft smashed into the Utah desert yesterday when is parachute failed to deploy properly. Scientists are hopeful that at least some of the Genesis samples can still be salvaged. This mission failure doesn't help as NASA continues to fight for its full 2005 budget request.
