Cassini Senses Lightning And Discovers New Radiation Belt Around Saturn

As new information continues to flow in from the Cassini spacecraft orbiting Saturn, scientists have discovered new a radiation belt around the gas giant. Lightning patterns have also been observed that differ from those "seen" earlier by the Voyager spacecraft. Additionally, Cassini images show a glow emanating from the atmosphere of Saturn's moon Titan.
